A smaller catalogue by design
Crudde is being built as a curated UK retailer rather than an unrestricted supplier-feed mirror. A product is not publishable simply because a supplier can provide a title, image and cost.
Each item must have a clear customer use, a supportable delivery promise, an evidenced return route and enough commercial headroom to serve the customer properly if something goes wrong.
The six publication gates
The initial gates cover stock and warehouse evidence, landed cost and contribution, product safety and category requirements, original customer-facing content, image rights and quality, and technical SEO eligibility.
Missing or stale information is treated as a reason to pause publication. It is not silently guessed or filled with supplier marketing language.
What UK-stocked means here
A UK-stock label will require evidence that the selected offer is physically available through a UK warehouse and has a practical UK delivery and return route. Crudde will not use the label merely because a supplier website has a UK-facing page.
Why some products will disappear
A product can be paused when stock, cost, delivery, compliance or supplier service data becomes stale. This protects customers from taking an order that cannot be fulfilled on the terms shown.
Specifications, delivery and price claims should be checked again at the point of purchase. A useful guide does not replace current product information.
